The Pianodrome is a 100-seater amphitheatre constructed in the summer of 2018 from over 50 discarded pianos. This autumn we are teaming up with cultural grandee Leith Theatre to bring you this truly interactive sculpture for creative community.

In August 2017 we built a mini 30-seater Pianodrome and opened it as a free performance venue and community space.

Olivier Bardina filmed the opening – watch the video here!

Pianos are like people

No piano is junk and no person is ‘unmusical’.

The #Pianodrome is a musical instrument and performance place for everyone regardless of age, gender, social status, race or ability. It’s a place for all to play. We have worked with 100’s of volunteers over the last 3 years to help realise this dream – and we’re always on the lookout for people to get involved.
