It’s Andie’s last night in her childhood home before going to uni and she’s throwing the party to end all parties. But her younger brother Percy is furious because it’s also the celestial event of the summer: the Perseids meteor shower. Andie and her friends ban all talk of their imminent A-Level results but choices must still be made.
From award-winning comedy duo Britney – Charly Clive (star of Channel 4’s Pure) and Ellen Robertson (star of Mike Bartlett’s Snowflake) – comes a brand-new drama about how to find your way in uncertain times.
Launched at the Old Vic in 2012, the Loose Limbed Collective is an initiative by the drama departments at Abingdon School and the School of St Helen and St Katharine in Oxfordshire designed to support those working in the arts.
It brings together young people with interests in theatre, dance, film, television, radio, writing, journalism, comedy and music to make connections, share ideas and perhaps even work together – a sort of speed dating for arty types. In short, the Loose Limbed Collective seeks to help creative young people meet and make things happen.
This is its first Edinburgh Fringe production.
