100th Piano Adoption Celebration

with the Trout Quintet!

It's time to celebrate our biggest achievement this year - we have successfully found new homes for over 100 pianos since the beginning of the year! (Actually we've reached 108 as of today).

Tom Nelson and Shona MacArthur, who have been leading on the project, have been working hard alongside a team of volunteers and our fabulous piano tuners Joey Sanderson and Ben Treuhaft, to help ensure these pianos do not end up in the dump. They have found each of these pianos a loving home, and somewhere to be played - by accomplished and aspiring musicians alike.

Our hugely successful Adopt a Piano scheme will be continuing after the move from the Wee Hub, and we are currently in talks with Ocean Terminal about taking on a new space in the shopping center, to help further our mission: 'No piano is junk, and no person is unmusical!'

Join us on Saturday 28th October from 4pm - 7.30pm Pianodrome at the Wee Hub, Ocean Terminal to help us celebrate this awesome achievement.. There will be a special piano sharing, a musical showcase and performance of Schubert's "Trout Quintet" Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667  by the Trout Quintet - with Tim Vincent- smith, Joey Sanderson and other special guests.
