A night of nu-jazz featuring some of Scotland's leading musicians

Mahuki Cadre is the latest project of Czech-born multi-instrumentalist and composer Honza Kourimsky, who has worked as a guitarist, singer, arranger and promoter in Edinburgh from 2015 onwards.

Honza's newest project brings together musicians from the New Wave of Scottish Jazz, combining elements of jazz with psychedelia, groove and Eastern European folk music. The band features:

Oskar Jones - Tenor Sax

Tallulah Rose is a Scottish Multi-Instrumentalist
Saxophone/Singer/Composer based in Amsterdam,
Netherlands.

Tallulah Rose shows are an electrifying experience, taking you
on a journey through inner and outer worlds.
The musicians create a beautiful atmosphere through their
open expression and connection with the music, sure to bring
joy to your heart and a shuffle to your feet.
The music is hypnotic and explosive, influenced by a wide
spectrum of soundworlds from Jazz, Hiphop, Neo-soul, Folk, EDM, African music.

The music is Inspired by artists such as Robert Glasper,
Braxton Cook, Lianne La Havas, Yussef Dayes, Erykah Badu,
Butcher Brown, Anderson Paak, Nubya Garcia and Jordan Rakei

Tinderbox Lates:

Throughout the Fringe, the Tinderbox Grand Hall will be hosting a variety of bands to play late night gigs from 10pm-12.30am. Please note doors will open at 10pm and the acts will start at 10.30pm.
