In Praise of Shadows’ you will listen to old stories and young stories. You will be invited to abandon your day to day & open yourself to the dreams and fantasies that live inside you.

What stories & secrets do you hold in your body? Do your knees keep secrets from your stomach? Do your fingers giggle by themselves when your eyes are closed?

Follow the story of a child who gets their hopes and dreams stolen and the journey of their family to rekindle them. The performance space itself, the ceiling, the walls, the floor, becomes the set for different adventures that will bring wonder to the forefront.

Through the exploration of storytelling and shadow-puppetry, multiple stories will be told in an effort to reflect on the way we build ourselves and our communities through the sharing of communal tales.

This version of the show is performed outdoors in a hand made geodesic dome.
