Ram is an Italian born musician, composer and songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Throughout a career that spans over 12 years, he has performed in several countries around the world in the most diverse settings and venues, been a founding member of a number of bands and collectives, and taken part in Edinburgh's Fringe Festival's Street Events every year since 2011. Developing his style originally on acoustic and electric guitar with a solid Blues and Folk foundation, he devoted the last few years exploring diverse music traditions that influenced his research towards a unique blend of World Music that retains its original blues-based approach while expanding on the roots of folk traditions from America, Asia and Africa. Today his repertoire includes 1970s blues and folk-rock songs as well as his increasingly diverse own compositions, which he performs under his solo act stage name "RamTajam".
