The Pianodrome first began to take shape when Matt and Tim’s band S!nk put a 40 ft shipping container at The Forge, an open access community wood and metal workshop operating from a brownfield site in central Edinburgh and opened its doors to unwanted pianos.

The container quickly filled up and over the course of 2016/17 multiple prototype piano seating structures and events were created culminating in the ‘Baby Pianodrome’ complete with geodesic canopy frame.
